Display Name: Peace Symbols, Hearts and More

The heart symbol is a "unicode" character. So you can cut/paste a heart into your Myspace display name. Some other symbols and their HTML codes:

The HTML codes I listed above do not work in your display name, I just posted them for reference.

You can't use HTML in your display name, it won't work. Instead, cut the symbol(s) you want off this page and paste them into Myspace under "Edit Profile" / "Name".

Sometimes these symbols are too small to see on Myspace. If that's the case you might want big text. Add this style to your page to make your display name big:

These unicode characters aren't bitmaps downloaded from the Internet, the heart symbol for example is actually hardwired into your computer, just like numbers, letters and punctuation.

For some reason most browsers don't render the "peace sign" character. You need a bitmap to render a peace symbol, use an "img" tag like this:
